Wiesenstärling

Rotwild, Otter, Waschbär, Nerz und Grauhörnchen sind in den Waldgebieten heimisch. Kaninchen, Ziesel, Präriehund und Kojote leben in den Graslandregionen. Die Vogelwelt ist überaus artenreich. Die häufigsten Vogelarten sind Wiesenstärling, Spottdrossel, Wanderdrossel, Blauhäher, Krähe und Sperling. In den Großen Salzebenen im Norden des Staates sind wild lebende Enten verbreitet.

Deer, otter, raccoon, mink and gray squirrels are native to the forests. Rabbits, ground squirrels, prairie dog and coyote live in the prairie regions. The bird life is very rich in species. The most common birds are Meadowlark, mockingbird, robin, blue jays, crows and sparrows. In the Great Salt Flats in upstate wild ducks are common.
