Bei allen Industrien, wo die Reproduktionszeit sich über ein Jahr erstreckt, wie bei großem Teil des Viehs, Holzes usw., die aber zugleich fortwährend reproduziert werden müssen, d.h. Anwendung bestimmten Quantums von Arbeit erfordern, fallen Akkumulation und Reproduktion soweit zusammen, als die neuzugefügte Arbeit, die nicht nur bezahlte, sondern auch unbezahlte Arbeit darstellt, aufgehäuft werden muß in natura, bis das Produkt verkauffähig ist. (Es ist hier nicht die Rede vom Aufhäufen des nach der allgemeinen Profitrate jährlich zugefügten Profits – dies keine wirkliche Akkumulation, sondern nur Weise der Berechnung –, sondem von dem Aufhäufen der Gesamtarbeit, die sich während mehrer Jahre wiederholt, wo also nicht nur bezahlte, sondern auch unbezahlte Arbeit aufgehäuft wird in natura und sofort wieder in Kapital verwandelt wird.

In all industries, in which the period of reproduction extends over more than a year, as is the case with a major part of livestock, timber etc., but whose products at the same time have to be continuously reproduced, thus requiring the application of a certain amount of labour, accumulation and reproduction coincide in so far as the newly-added labour, which includes not only paid but also unpaid labour, must be accumulated in kind, until the product is ready for sale. (We are not speaking here of the accumulation of the profit which according to the general rate of profit is added [to the capital] each year—this is not real accumulation, but only a method of accounting. We are concerned here with the accumulation of the total labour which is repeated in the course of several years, during which not only paid, but also unpaid labour is accumulated in kind and at once reconverted into capital.

- 8 Der Löwe hat gebrüllt, wer fürchtet sich [da] nicht? Der Herr, HERR, hat geredet, wer weissagt [da] nicht? 9 Laßt es hören über den Palästen in Aschdod und über den Palästen im Land Ägypten und sagt: Versammelt euch auf den Bergen von Samaria und seht die große Verwirrung in seiner Mitte und die Unterdrückungen in seinem Innern! 10 Sie verstehen nicht, das Rechte zu tun, spricht der HERR, sie, die Gewalttat und Verwüstung in ihren Palästen aufhäufen.

9 Publish you in the palaces at Ashdod, and in the palaces in the land of Egypt, and say, Assemble yourselves on the mountains of Samaria, and see what great tumults are therein, and what oppressions in the midst of it. 10 For they don't know to do right, says Yahweh, who store up violence and robbery in their palaces.

1 Ich bezeuge ernstlich vor Gott und Christus Jesus, der Lebende und Tote richten wird, und bei seiner Erscheinung und seinem Reich: 2 Predige das Wort, stehe bereit zu gelegener und ungelegener Zeit; überführe, strafe, ermahne mit aller Langmut und Lehre. 3 Denn es wird eine Zeit sein, da sie die gesunde Lehre nicht ertragen, sondern nach ihren eigenen Lüsten sich selbst Lehrer aufhäufen werden, weil es ihnen in den Ohren kitzelt; 4 und sie werden die Ohren von der Wahrheit abkehren und sich zu den Fabeln hinwenden.

1 I give you orders, before God and Christ Jesus, who will be the judge of the living and the dead, and by his revelation and his kingdom; 2 Be preaching the word at all times, in every place; make protests, say sharp words, give comfort, with long waiting and teaching; 3 For the time will come when they will not take the true teaching; but, moved by their desires, they will get for themselves a great number of teachers for the pleasure of hearing them; 4 And shutting their ears to what is true, will be turned away to belief in foolish stories.

1 I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: 2 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; correct, rebuke, and exhort, with great patience and instruction.

1. Man mußte ca. 140 Tonnen Holz in eine Grube schaffen und dort aufhäufen;

Approximately 140 tons of wood had to be carried into a pit and stacked there;

10 Sie verstehen nicht, das Rechte zu tun, spricht der HERR, sie, die Gewalttat und Verwüstung in ihren Palästen aufhäufen.

10 For they know not to do right, saith the LORD, who store up violence and robbery in their palaces.

17 Er soll auch nicht viele Frauen nehmen, damit sein Herz nicht auf Abwege gerät; auch soll er sich nicht zu viel Silber und Gold aufhäufen.

17 "Neither shall he multiply wives for himself, lest his heart turn away; nor shall he greatly multiply silver and gold for himself.

18 Aber ihr Gewinn und Hurenlohn wird dem HERRN geweiht werden. Man wird ihn nicht wie Schätze sammeln und aufhäufen, sondern ihr Erwerb wird denen zufallen, die vor dem HERRN wohnen, daß sie essen und satt werden und wohl bekleidet seien.

18 And her merchandise and her hire shall be holiness to the LORD: it shall not be treasured nor laid up; for her merchandise shall be for them that dwell before the LORD, to eat sufficiently, and for durable clothing.
