Rund 60 % des PSF-Verbrauchs in der Gemeinschaft entfallen auf die Spinnerei , d. h. auf die Herstellung von Filamenten fuer die Textilproduktion , wobei gegebenenfalls andere Fasern wie Baumwolle oder Wolle beigemischt werden . Etwa 25 % werden als Fuellstoff verwendet , d. h. zum Fuellen oder Ausstopfen bestimmter Textilien ( beispielsweise von Kissen , Autositzen , Jacken ) , und die verbleibenden 15 % sind fuer andere Verwendungen ( ausser der Spinnerei ) bestimmt , vor allem fuer die Teppichherstellung . Die betroffene Ware wird in mehreren Qualitaeten angeboten : Die A-Qualitaet entspricht der Standardqualitaet , waehrend die qualitativ schlechteren Fasern der B- bzw. C-Qualitaet zugeordnet werden . Die Untersuchung ergab , dass nur PSF der A-Qualitaet in die Gemeinschaft ausgefuehrt wurden . Die PSF-Hersteller unterscheiden anhand ihrer eigenen Kriterien , die sich in erster Linie auf die Verwendung , die Feinheit und die Laenge der Fasern stuetzen , verschiedene Typen der betroffenen Ware .
