Patentanspruch 1), worin R¹, R² und R³ die oben angegebene Bedeutung haben, bei einem Partialdruck der Summe der Komponenten des Reaktionssystems zwischen 1 und 500 mbar, vorzugsweise zwischen 5 und 100 mbar, in Berührung mit einem flüssigen, katalytisch wirkenden Medium spaltet und die entstehenden Alkenylphosphinsäurealkylester der Formel I und andere flüchtige Reaktionsprodukte dampfförmig abzieht.
