Ich weiß, was du tust und wo du wohnst, da des Satans Stuhl ist; und hältst an meinem Namen und hast meinen Glauben nicht verleugnet auch in den Tagen, in welchen Antipas, mein treuer Zeuge, bei euch getötet ist, da der Satan wohnt.

I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.

Der Satan antwortete dem HERRN und sprach: Haut für Haut; und alles was ein Mann hat, läßt er für sein Leben.

And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life.

Da sprach der HERR zu dem Satan: Wo kommst du her? Der Satan antwortete dem HERRN und sprach: Ich habe das Land umher durchzogen.

And the LORD said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

Setze Gottlose über ihn; und der Satan müsse stehen zu seiner Rechten.

Set thou a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.

Und der Satan stand wider Israel und reizte David, daß er Israel zählen ließe.

And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel.

Der Satan antwortete dem HERRN und sprach: Meinst du, daß Hiob umsonst Gott fürchtet?

Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?

Jeder Tag ist eine Herausforderung, an denen du beweisen sollst. Der Satan lädt uns immer zur Sünde ein, ob du merkst oder nicht.

Every day is a challenge, in which you shall prove. Satan always invites us to sin, whether you realize it or not.

Und der Satan soll euch nicht abweisen.

And let not Satan divert you.
