erzürnen

Sie haben mich gereizt an dem, das nicht Gott ist; mit ihrer Abgötterei haben sie mich erzürnt. Und ich will sie wieder reizen an dem, das nicht ein Volk ist; an einem törichten Volk will ich sie erzürnen.

They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.

Und er ließ seine Söhne durchs Feuer gehen im Tal des Sohnes Hinnoms und wählte Tage und achtete auf Vogelgeschrei und zauberte und stiftete Wahrsager und Zeichendeuter und tat viel, was dem HERRN übel gefiel, ihn zu erzürnen.

And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

Darum, daß sie mich verlassen und andern Göttern geräuchert haben, mich zu erzürnen mit allen Werken ihrer Hände, darum wird mein Grimm sich wider diese Stätte entzünden und nicht ausgelöscht werden.

Because they have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands; therefore my wrath shall be kindled against this place, and shall not be quenched.

6 Und ihre Nebenbuhlerin reizte sie sehr mit kränkenden Reden, um sie darüber zu erzürnen, daß der HERR ihren Leib verschlossen hatte.

6 And her rival used to provoke her grievously to irritate her, because the LORD had closed her womb. 7 So it went on year by year.

16:33 And Ahab made a grove; and Ahab did more to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before him.

16:33 And he planted a grove: and Achab did more to provoke the Lord the God of Israel, than all the kings of Israel that were before him.
