220 534 Die Auspuffanlage sowie die Auspuffrohre muessen so gefuehrt oder geschuetzt sein , dass jede Gefahr fuer die Ladung durch Erhitzung oder Entzuendung vermieden wird . Die Teile der Auspuffanlage , die sich direkt unter dem Kraftstoffbehaelter ( Diesel ) befinden , muessen einen Abstand von mindestens 100 mm haben oder durch eine Hitzeabschirmung ( Hitzeschild ) geschuetzt sein . Bei der Befoerderung explosiver Stoffe ( Fahrzeugtypen EX / II und EX / III ) muss sich die Auspuffanlage vor der Vorderwand des Laderaums befinden oder von dem im Fahrzeug befoerderten Ladungsteil durch ein feuerbestaendiges und waermeisolierendes Schild getrennt sein . In diesem Fall muss die Muendung des Auspuffrohres nach der Aussenseite des Fahrzeugs gerichtet sein .

220 534 The exhaust system as well as the exhaust pipes shall be so directed or protected to avoid any danger to the load through heating or ignition . Parts of the exhaust system situated directly below the fuel tank ( diesel ) shall have a clearance of at least 100 mm or be protected by a thermal shield . In the case of transport of explosive substances or articles ( vehicle types EX / II and EX / III ) the exhaust system shall be placed forward of the front wall of the body or separated from the load-carrying part of the vehicle by a fire-resistant and heat-insulating screen . In this case the exhaust pipe outlet shall be directed outwards from the vehicle .

Bei der Befoerderung explosiver Stoffe ( Fahrzeugtypen EX / II und EX / III ) muss sich der Motor vor der Vorderwand des Laderaums befinden . Er darf jedoch auch unter dem Laderaum angeordnet sein , vorausgesetzt , jede , auch lokale Erhitzung der Ladung wird vermieden .

In the case of transport of explosive substances or articles ( vehicle types EX / II and EX / III ) the engine shall be placed forward of the front wall of the body : it may nevertheless be placed under the body , provided this is done in such a way as to avoid any heating , even localized , of the load .
