b ) _DOUBLEQUOTE_ vorverpackte Lebensmittel _DOUBLEQUOTE_ die Verkaufseinheit , die ohne weitere Verarbeitung an den Endverbraucher und an gemeinschaftliche Einrichtungen abgegeben werden soll und die aus einem Lebensmittel und der Verpackung besteht , in die das Lebensmittel vor dem Feilbieten abgepackt worden ist , gleichviel , ob die Verpackung es ganz oder teilweise umschliesst , jedoch auf solche Weise , dass der Inhalt nicht veraendert werden kann , ohne dass die Verpackung geoeffnet werden muss oder eine Veraenderung erfaehrt .

( b ) _DOUBLEQUOTE_ pre-packaged foodstuff _DOUBLEQUOTE_ shall mean any single item for presentation as such to the ultimate consumer and to mass caterers , consisting of a foodstuff and the packaging into which it was put before being offered for sale , whether such packaging encloses the foodstuff completely or only partially , but in any case in such a way that the contents cannot be altered without opening or changing the packaging .
