Verfahren zum Betrieb einer Gasturbogruppe mit oder ohne integriertem Dampfprozess, im wesentlichen bestehend aus mindestens einem Verdichter, mindestens einer Gasturbine und mindestens einer elektrischen Maschine, wobei bei Aufteilung der Gasturbine in mehrere, unabhängige Druckstufen in Strömungsrichtung stromauf der ersten Gasturbine ein erster Wärmeerzeuger und stromab der ersten Gasturbine ein weiterer Wärmeerzeuger betrieben werden, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zur Kühlung einer oder mehrerer kalorisch belasteter Strukturen (18, 19) der Gasturbogruppe (32) ein Teilmassenstrom (17) aus einer zur Gasturbine gehörigen Hochdruckturbine (15) entnommen wird, dass dieser Teilmassenstrom (17) durch ein kühleres Medium direkt und/oder indirekt gekühlt und anschliessend durch die zu kühlenden Strukturen geleitet wird.
