Ronald Bilius Weasley (* 1. März 1980), genannt Ron, ist der beste Freund von Harry und Hermine. Wie diese gehört er in Hogwarts dem Haus Gryffindor an. Er ist zweitjüngstes Kind von Arthur und Molly Weasley. Ron stammt aus einer Großfamilie und hat fünf ältere Brüder (Bill, Charlie, Percy, Fred und George) und eine jüngere Schwester (Ginny). Mehr zu seiner Familie siehe unten. Ron wird als groß und schlaksig, mit großen Händen und Füßen und einer langen Nase beschrieben. Er hat blaue Augen. Wie alle Weasleys hat Ron rote Haare und viele Sommersprossen.
