Merkwürdig ist, daß die Bürger im Fall von Rasenmähern eher spottend zu sagen pflegen: Haben die in Europa denn nichts Besseres zu tun?-- Aber ich finde, daß gerade diese Themen europäisch geregelt werden sollten.

It seems strange that people laugh about lawnmowers and ask if we have nothing better to do in Europe, but I think that these are exactly the kind of issues that should be regulated at European level.
