In einem ereignisarmen Monat Oktober verblieb die flexible Investitionsquote in einer engen Bandbreite um die 60 Prozent. Das Highlight der Berichtsperiode war der Optionsverfall, welcher jeweils am dritten Freitag im Monat stattfindet. Einmal mehr bestätigte sich die statistische Erhebung, dass zwei Drittel zu Gunsten des Optionsschreibers verfallen. So wurden im Fonds Prämien für Puts in Givaudan, Unilever, L’Oreal, Mondolez, Ahold, LVMH sowie Calls in Lonza und Vodafone kassiert. Auf der anderen Seite wurde die letzte Tranche in OMV ausgeübt und Put/Call in Danone, ABB und Siemens wurden mit einem erneuten Aufgeld auf Termin verlängert. Die aus den OMV-Aktien frei gewordenen Mittel wurden neu in das Schweizer Industrieunternehmen Sulzer investiert.
