und sage also: Daß eine ewige Gnade wird aufgehen, und du wirst deine Wahrheit treulich halten im Himmel.

For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens.

Da schwur Mose desselben Tages und sprach: Das Land, darauf du mit deinem Fuß getreten hast, soll dein und deiner Kinder Erbteil sein ewiglich, darum daß du dem HERRN, meinem Gott, treulich gefolgt bist.

And Moses sware on that day, saying, Surely the land whereon thy feet have trodden shall be thine inheritance, and thy children's for ever, because thou hast wholly followed the LORD my God.

Fürchtet nur den HERRN und dient ihm treulich von ganzem Herzen; denn ihr habt gesehen wie große Dinge er an euch tut.

Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.

aber ihr Herz war nicht fest an ihm, und hielten nicht treulich an seinem Bund.

For their heart was not right with him, neither were they stedfast in his covenant.

Daß er ihn aber hat von den Toten auferweckt, daß er hinfort nicht soll verwesen, spricht er also: "Ich will euch die Gnade, David verheißen, treulich halten."

And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.
