Abweichend von Kapitel 2 Nummer 2 können Vögel, die nicht aus zugelassenen Zuchtbetrieben zugehen, in einen Zuchtbetrieb aufgenommen werden, wenn die zuständige Behörde eine entsprechende Genehmigung erteilt hat, sofern die betreffenden Tiere vor der Übernahme in den Bestand nach den Anweisungen der zuständigen Behörde unter Quarantäne gestellt werden.

By way of derogation from point 2 of Chapter 2, birds introduced from sources other than approved breeding establishments, may be introduced in a breeding establishment after approval for such an introduction is given by the competent authority, provided that such animals undergo quarantine in accordance with the instructions given by the competent authority before being added to the collection.
