Er sieht den Herrn wie Hans „so keck und wohlgestaltet“ und die Dame wie Inge, die „auf eine gewisse übermütige Art lachend den Kopf zur Seite“ wirft.

He sees the man as Hans "so bold and well proportioned" and the lady as Inge, who "in  a certain high-spirited  way, throws her head to the side as she laughs".
