North Uist although only 35 miles in circumference is the perfect angling island containing a staggering 800 freshwater lochs and lochans most of which contain wild brown trout. As you fish you can expect to see to be in the company of eagles, sea eagles, black and red throated divers, whooper swans, an array of harriers, as well as corncrakes. In the sea pools will not be disappointed with arctic tern, curlews, snow bunting, long tailed skuas leaches petrels and sandpipers.
