That's what Germany's first postwar chancellor, Konrad Adenauer, said in response to the rumor that his Foreign Minister Heinrich von Brentano was gay. Isn't that still the basic attitude of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) -- they formally accept homosexuality, but find it somewhat disconcerting?
