She is a writer, public speaker, PADI Rescue Diver, and environmental advocate. While taking up BA English Studies at the University of the Philippines (UP), Anna represented the Philippines in a number of prestigious international conferences, including the 35th Ship for the Southeast Asian Youth Program and the UN Climate Change Conference in Cancun, Mexico. She also co-founded Isko Cleans UP, a project to implement a waste management program in UP based on the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of the Philippines (Republic Act 9003).
