Now that the issues with our own supplier has been fixed and we are not receiving defective parts, the standard lead time will be 5 to 6 weeks for these parts. I hope you both are well. Today I write to you to inform you that last week I had a serious accident with my car on the motorway. Thanks to a very good guardian angel, I have not been hurt too bad, whilst my car was completely destroyed. I am now suffering from a serious whiplash (fortunately only this) and will definitely not be in Düsseldorf for our meeting. Birgit – our designer – will be there for the meeting with you together with my colleague Ingrid. As you know, Birgit is fully involved in everything and will be able to discuss everything with you. She will bring swatches, sketches etc., so it will be fine for you. I am awfully sorry that we will not meet, but at the moment unfortunately cannot help it.

Ich hoffe, Sie beide sind gut. Heute schreibe ich Ihnen, um Ihnen mitzuteilen, dass ich letzte Woche einen schweren Unfall mit meinem Auto auf der Autobahn hatte. Dank einer sehr guten Schutzengel, ich habe nicht verletzt worden zu schlecht, während mein Auto völlig zerstört wurde. Ich bin jetzt an einer schweren Schleudertrauma (zum Glück nur diese) und wird definitiv nicht in Düsseldorf sein für unser Treffen. Birgit - unsere Designer - wird es für das Treffen mit Ihnen gemeinsam mit meiner Kollegin Ingrid. Wie Sie wissen, ist Birgit voll in alles involviert und in der Lage, alles, was mit Ihnen besprechen. Sie bringt Stoffproben, Skizzen etc., so wird es für Sie in Ordnung. Es tut mir außerordentlich leid, dass wir nicht treffen, aber im Moment leider nicht helfen.
