The mechanical I/F to the IOU structure consists of three mounting points with screws M5. As mounting plane for the SSM assembly the x-z-plane is determined. A three point shimming concept has been kept. For this reason alignment surfaces are foreseen. By using shims between this surfaces and applied pins in the IOU structure the SSM assembly is able to justified on the exactly position (see also Figure 2-26).
