However, as much as I would like to see Turkey joining the EU in the near future, the progress report unfortunately indicates something quite the opposite.

So sehr ich mich allerdings darüber freuen würde, wenn die Türkei in naher Zukunft in die EU aufgenommen wird, so zeigt der Fortschrittsbericht leider ganz das Gegenteil.
