The first part of the books is about Sagan and the story from the last book continue here. Sagan find himself in the hand of a wicht, an natural enemy of the Shadowdwellers. But this one is other. And really fast there is a hot and wild lovestory build up around Sagan and Valera. It’s also a very short story and was a litte bit surprised as it ended after 30 % of the whole book. Then there is a break and the reader swicht to the story around Malaya and her bodyguard Guin. The background story is about the intrigue of Achadian and how she try to manipulate Malaya and her brother to get on the thron. Magnus and Dae plays a role in this story, too. The background story was very good and I was excited how the story goes. But the lovestory between Guin and Malaya was a little bit… odd. Unfortunately I have to say that I don’t like it. Malaya’s childish behaviour was going on my nerves and this game with Guin… not very good at all.

Der erste Teil der Bücher ist über Sagan und die Geschichte aus dem letzten Buch weiterhin hier. Sagan finden sich in der Hand ein Wicht, ein natürlicher Feind der Shadowdwellers. Aber diese eine andere ist. Und es gibt wirklich schnell ein heiß und wild Lovestory aufzubauen, um Sagan und Valera.
 
 Es ist auch eine sehr kurze Geschichte und kleinlichen überrascht war, wie es nach 30 % des gesamten Buches endete.
 
 Dann gibt es eine Pause und die Leser-Swicht an die Geschichte um Malaya und ihr Leibwächter Guin Die Hintergrundgeschichte ist über die Intrigen von Achadian und wie sie versuchen, Malaya und ihr Bruder auf den Thron zu manipulieren. Magnus und Dae spielt eine Rolle in dieser Geschichte. Die Hintergrund-Story war sehr gut und ich war aufgeregt, wie die Geschichte geht. Aber die Lovestory zwischen Guin und Malaya war ein wenig... merkwürdig. Leider muss ich sagen, dass ich es nicht mag. Malaya des kindlichen Verhaltens war überhaupt auf meine Nerven und dieses Spiel mit Guin.. nicht sehr gut geht.
