yesterday we informed you that we identified a new phenomen on some of the FS200 laser heads. We had some heads which failed immediately out of the box but after 24-48 hours of acclimatization they were back to full performance. Your concern was that we can’t keep the customer down for additional 48 hours until the head is acclimated and you asked me if it will make sense to send the head prior to the installation. This morning I spoke with R&D and received a first feedback. The root cause for this behavior is not identified. All tests are still running and they can’t provide an recommendation at the moment, if it would make sense to sent the head prior to installation. The first tests will be completed by the end of this week and I hope to provide you an answer by middle of next week.
