The Contractor will report to the Employer on a weekly base (in function of the progress of the works) all pulled cables with their exact installed cable length, installation mode (cable ladder/tray, conduit, trenches…), exact cable type and from which cable-drum they were pulled as well as which cable ends were connected (A-end / B-end). This will be done by completing the cable list (xls-file) as transmitted by the Employer. This reporting will serve on multiple levels;

Der Auftragnehmer wird dem Arbeitgeber auf wöchentlicher Basis (in Abhängigkeit vom Fortschritt der Arbeiten) alle Kabel gezogen mit ihrer exakten installiert Kabellänge, Montageart (Kabelleiter / Tablett, Leitung, Gräben ...), die genaue Kabeltyp und von berichten Kabeltrommel, welche sie als auch die Kabelenden verbunden waren (A-seitigen / B-Seite) gezogen wird. Dies wird durch die Vollendung des Kabel-Liste (xls-Datei), wie vom Arbeitgeber übertragen getan werden. Diese Berichterstattung wird auf mehreren Ebenen zu dienen;

(57) Taking into account that cable connections include transoceanic journeys and that the biggest cable-laying vessels can only stock about 3000 km of cable drums, Alcatel-Lucent is of the opinion that the most significant activity of cable-laying vessels consists of transporting cable drums from the cable drum factory to the point at sea where the cable has to be connected and from which it will be laid down on the sea bed.

(57) Angesichts der Tatsache, dass bei der Kabelverlegung Ozeane überbrückt werden und selbst die größten Kabelverlegungsschiffe nur etwa 3000 km Kabel an Bord nehmen können, ist Alcatel-Lucent der Ansicht, dass die Haupttätigkeit von Kabelverlegungsschiffen darin besteht, Kabeltrommeln von der Fabrik zu dem Punkt auf See zu befördern, an dem das Kabel anzuschließen und auf dem Meeresgrund zu verlegen ist.
