As I feared is was not a normal start up on the lights today. The lamp which has been consistently working came on at 12pm as usual. The other lamp eventually came to life at 5pm and again made a lot of noise for an hour before calming down. Please let me know how to proceed. As mentioned I would feel more comfortable swapping the unit as I am concerned about possible fire risks of a faulty component.
