And, yes, Christmas is coming Much too Soon! The older one gets, the faster the years roll by. It seems that we took down our Xmas tree not that long ago, and now Christmas will soon again be here. But we do enjoy the holidays. As an interesting tidbit, my son married a woman who is Muslim and they have a Christmas tree (although not a real one) in their house. I told her, early on, that Christmas is my son's favorite holiday and she's now enjoying the holiday as well. When I say Muslim, she's rather progressive. She's a lawyer, dresses like the rest of us, and is an avid card player! Well, maybe things will settle down now that the elections are over, and hopefully the feelings of peace and goodwill to all will take over.

Und, ja, Weihnachten kommt viel zu früh! Je älter man wird, desto schneller die Jahre rollen. Ich sagte ihr, früh, dass Weihnachten mein Sohn das beliebteste Ferienland ist und sie jetzt genießen den Urlaub als gut. Wenn ich Muslim sagen, sie ist eher progressiv. Sie ist ein Anwalt, kleidet sich wie der Rest von uns, und ist ein begeisterter Kartenspieler! Na ja, vielleicht Dinge niederlassen jetzt, dass die Wahlen vorbei sind, und hoffentlich auch die Gefühle von Frieden und Wohlwollen für alle übernehmen wird.
