This paper presents a novel model that exhibits the phenomenon of ghost stochastic resonance. The contribution is interesting and explores an important contemporary research topic for an asynchronous cellular automaton model. It is generally well written. I can therefore basically recommend the paper for publication as is. There are only some minor comments: 1) Fig. 2a): There is an error in the denotation of the register on the right-hand side. 2) For the observation period you chose T=10'000. Can you make any comment on this particular choice? 3) You show that the model can reproduce the characteristics of human perception of complex sound. It might be interesting for you to also compare your results to the results from an artificial cochlea model (e.g. S. Martignoli and R. Stoop, Phys. Rev. Lett. 105 (2010)).

Es gibt nur ein paar kleine Anmerkungen: 1) Abb. 2a): Es liegt ein Fehler in der Denotation des Registers auf der rechten Seite. 2) Für den Beobachtungszeitraum von Ihnen gewählten T = 10'000. Können Sie einen beliebigen Kommentar zu diesem speziellen Wahl? 3) Sie zeigen, dass das Modell die Eigenschaften der menschlichen Wahrnehmung von komplexen Klang zu reproduzieren. Es könnte interessant sein für Sie auch vergleichen Sie Ihre Ergebnisse mit den Ergebnissen aus einer künstlichen Cochlea-Modell (zB S. Martignoli und R. Stoop, Phys. Rev. Lett. 105 (2010)).
