2) All partaking schools agree that there will be an annual conference of the League, which will be organised each year by a different member. The next conference will be at Tilburg, on 20-22 June 2012. The general format will be one day for executive meetings of the League’s main body and working committees, a second day for academic purposes. The conference will ideally overlap with the annual League’s Summer School and will as of 2013 take place in July.

2) Alle Teilhabe Schulen einig, dass es eine jährliche Konferenz der Liga, die jedes Jahr organisiert wird von einem anderen Mitglied sein. Die nächste Konferenz wird in Tilburg sein, am 20-22 Juni 2012. Das allgemeine Format eines Tages für Vorstandssitzungen von der Liga, Hauptteil und Arbeitskreisen, einen zweiten Tag für akademische Zwecke sein. Die Konferenz wird im Idealfall mit der jährlichen League Summer School überlappen und wird ab dem Jahr 2013 finden im Juli statt.

b. Four ‘practical working committees’ are established, charged with: i. Moot court – chaired by Prof. Margarita Maria Gómez Ordonez (Los Andes) ii. Joint Degrees – chaired by Prof. Randall Lesaffer (Tilburg law School) and Prof. Maria Lucia Padua Lima (FGV Direito Sao Paulo) iii. Summer School – co-chaired by Meera de Mel (NYU) and Prof. Rafael Mafei Rabelo Queiroz (DIREITO GV) iv. Co-teaching – co-chaired by Prof. Amnon Lehavy (ICD Radzyner) and Prof. José Garcez Ghirardi ( DIREITO GV) The member schools are invited to forward names for these practical committees from among their faculty, so all committees can have 5-6 members.

Renata, Sorry I thought I had replied. Michael and the HS German rep will be introduced sometime within Germany as I understand. The two select committees are not meeting each other on August 29th as far as I am aware. As soon as I get anymore information I will communicate it to you. Ian

I have received many negative reactions from various European countries, in eastern and western Europe alike, and even today from the European Forum of National Laity Committees in Erfurt.

Aus den einzelnen europäischen Staaten, aus Ost-und Westeuropa, sind mir zahlreiche negative Reaktionen zugegangen, heute noch von dem Europäischen Forum Katholischer Laienverbände in Erfurt.

If we were to take out these six days in the autumn, we would have time for committees, time for week-long surgeries and all the rest, instead of which we could use the time here really profitably.

Wenn wir diese sechs Tage im Herbst streichen würden, hätten wir Ausschusszeit, hätten wir Wahlkreiswochen und alles Mögliche, und wir könnten stattdessen die Zeit hier wirklich effizient nutzen!
