For the purposes of German legislation, contributions which are not taken into account under Article 15 (1) (b) of the Implementing Regulation shall be taken into account for the calculation of the additional amounts of the optional complementary insurance.

Pursuant to the provisions of the UVG (art. 37 and 38), cash benefits can be reduced or even denied in case of gross negligence and ventures. This risk can be covered sensibly in the complementary insurance (differential cover).
