Neben Neem und Kieselerde, zweier im Forschungsbereich bekannter Antifeedants, wurden die Wurzel eines Korbblütlers, eines Moschuskrautgewächses und eines Kreuzblütlers, die Samen eines Lippenblütengewächses und das ätherische Öl einer tropischen Graswurzel für den neu entwickelten Mottenschutz ausgewählt.
