A “risk-based approach” was used whereby the compliance and operational risks at the Company across all departments were considered. The internal audit work has been prioritised according to the level of risk of the Company. Control procedures within the Company are identified by means of observation and corroborative enquiry. Walkthrough tests are also performed on procedures in the objective of evaluating their risks and ensuring that controls are in place.
