The paints were applied by spraying using a standard commercial spray gun from SATA Farbspritztechnik GmbH Kornwestheim, Del. with a 1.4 mm nozzle at a pressure of about 2 bar in one cross-pass to the respective prepared substrate (in the case of glass, to a basecoat from Spies Hecker GmbH, Cologne, Del. with the designation MB 501 white; in the case of aluminium panels measuring 300×150 mm, to a basecoat from Spies Hecker GmbH, Cologne, Del. with the designation Tiefschwarz [deep black] RAL 9005).

Die Lacke wurden durch Spritzapplikation mittels einer handelsüblichen Spritzpistole der Firma SATA Farbspritztechnik GmbH Kornwestheim, DE, 1,4 mm Düse, Druck ca. 2 bar in einem Kreuzgang auf den jeweiligen vorbereiteten Untergrund (bei Glas auf einen Basislack von Spies Hecker GmbH, Köln, DE mit der Bezeichnung MB 501 weiß, bei Alu-Platten 300 x 150 mm auf einen Basislack der Spies Hecker GmbH, Köln, DE mit der Bezeichnung Tiefschwarz RAL 9005) appliziert.
