What did I learn? I would have to say that a combo of the old and the new is ready to be found. I rode one of Levi’s 7’5 Single Fin boards that he just made and it was really fun. It fit in the pocket of the wave, had PUSH to crank a good bottom turn and had most of the good features from the quad-like outline. As 2013 design phases begin, I’m excited to see what all the brands will put on the table for the new “IT” shapes! Stay tuned…..

Was gelernt ich? Ich muss sagen, dass eine Combo der alten und der neuen gefunden werden kann. Ich ritt Levis 7'5 Single-Fin-Boards, die er gerade gemacht und es hat wirklich Spaß gemacht. Es passt in die Tasche der Welle, hatte PUSH, eine gute Unterseite Wendung Kurbel und die meisten guten Features aus der Quad-ähnliche Gliederung.
 Als Entwurfsphasen 2013 beginnen, bin ich gespannt zu sehen, welche alle Marken auf den Tisch für das neue "IT" Formen gelegt werden! Bleiben Sie dran...

In principle, each material needs to be evaluated, verified or tested to proof that it fulfils ex-pected performance criteria’s. The first set of performance criteria’s are specified during the initial design phases, modifications may be done in later stages.

Im Prinzip muss jedes Material ausgewertet, überprüft oder getestet zu beweisen, dass sie erwarteten Performance-Kriterien die erfüllt. Der erste Satz von Performance-Kriterien die in den ersten Planungsphasen angegeben sind, können Änderungen in späteren Phasen durchgeführt werden.

General impression Positive changes seen in the production area referenced to the previous audit which have been recognized as clear improvements. Knowledge of the meaning of the various design phases is not clear by every one. This also applies to the change process although the change implementation is conscientious. A higher focus on the repair process can be recognized including first measurements for the repair cycle time. The weekly Quality (internal corrective action) meetings on the work floor are considered to have potential for structural improvements. Initiatives in the Purchasing discipline are well received and will have a positive affect when the process and related (supplier rating) tool has improved it’s maturity.

 Positive Veränderungen gesehen in der Produktion der vorherigen Prüfung verwiesen, die als eindeutige Verbesserungen erkannt worden sind.
 Kenntnisse über die Bedeutung der verschiedenen Entwurfsphasen ist nicht von jedem klar. Dies gilt auch für den Change-Prozess, obwohl die Änderung
 die Umsetzung ist gewissenhaft.
 Höherer Schwerpunkt des Reparaturvorgangs kann erkannt werden, einschließlich der erste Messungen für die Reparatur Zykluszeit.
 Die wöchentlichen Treffen der Qualität (interne Korrekturmaßnahmen) auf dem Boden Arbeit gelten als Potenzial für strukturelle Verbesserungen haben.
