Die Indianer tendenziell eher Schicksalsgläubigen sehen ihre Filme viel weniger zielorientiert. Im indischen Kino ist der Weg das Ziel. Hier kann die Spannung-Dramaturgie kurz aussetzen, wenn der Held und die Heldin des Films singen und tanzen. Die Tanzeinlagen sollten nicht unbedingt vorher die Handlung des Films, sondern stehen als Attraktion Wert für sich. Wenn zum Beispiel ein indischer Hersteller, die fehlt noch eine Action-Szene in seinem Film, so dass sie befindet sich in einer Teilfläche nicht unbedingt die Haupthandlung voranbringen oder gar mit ihr zu tun haben muss.
