I hope that the Commission will accept this compromise, although even this proposal generates a serious effort for the Bulgarian economy and it would be an inflationary factor, without producing any effect for the environment because gasolene and fuel oil are not elastic products and they depend on many other economic factors rather than excise taxes.

Ich hoffe, die Kommission akzeptiert diesen Kompromiss, obwohl sogar dieser Kompromiss die bulgarische Wirtschaft vor eine schwierige Aufgabe stellt und ein Inflationsfaktor ohne jeden positiven Effekt für die Umwelt wäre, denn Benzin und Heizöl sind keine elastischen Erzeugnisse und hängen nicht nur von Verbrauchsteuersätzen ab, sondern noch in weit größerem Maße von vielen anderen Wirtschaftsfaktoren.
