The occurrence of the biomicritic microfacies in general is related to areas typified by a relatively limited thickness of the complex above the micritic one (Fig. 12B). Biomicrites are often sandy and contain important amounts of terrigenous clay. Within the biomicritic microfacies thin interbeds of biolithites and oncolites are usually found. The sparitic microfacies (Fig. 12B, 13) is characterized by the dominance of sparites which are often the only rock types in the complex above the micritic one. Faunal remains are found in the sparites, with oncoids as well as micritic fragments (intraclasts).

Das Vorkommen der Biomicritic Karbonatfaziesanalyse bezieht sich im Allgemeinen auf Bereiche
 beispielsweise im Zusammenhang mit einer relativ begrenzten Dicke des Komplexes oberhalb der micritic
 ein (Abb. 12 b). Biomicrites sind oft sandig und enthalten wichtige Mengen
 von terrigener Ton. Innerhalb der dünnen Biomicritic Karbonatfaziesanalyse-Interbeds von
 Biolithites und Onkoide werden normalerweise gefunden.
 Die Sparitic Karbonatfaziesanalyse (Abb. 12 b, 13) zeichnet sich durch die Dominanz
 von Sparites, die oft der einzige Rock-Typen im oben genannten Komplex der
 Micritic eins. -Überresten findet man in der Sparites, mit Oncoids sowie
 als Micritic Fragmente (Intraclasts).
