(Ekambaranathar temple)Once upon a time a demon named Pandasuran got into the bodies of Lord Vishnu, Brahma and other celestials robbed them of their power and weakened them. Lord Shiva, who wanted to suppress the demon’s powers, rose up as a lamp of brilliant light, set up a pit for the sacred fire and filled it with ghee.

(Ekambaranathar Tempel) Einmal hat ein Dämon Pandasuran genannt, der in die Körper von Herrn Vishnu erhalten worden ist, Brahma und ander himmlisch hat sie von ihrer Kraft geraubt und hat sie geschwächt. Herr Shiva, der die Kräfte des Dämons, Rose auf als eine Lampe brillanten Lichts, unterdrücken wollte, hat eine Grube für das heilige Feuer aufgestellt und hat es mit ghee gefüllt.
