This version of the Traveling Tank is slightly taller than the whole plate tank, and will accomodate 8x10 plates oriented horizontally (landscape format). This new design incorporates many improvements over the original model. It features a single piece lid with a polyethylene foam gasket and stainless steel draw latches to minimize the likelihood of spills while traveling from location to location. The stainless steel plate hanger is integral to the lid and is adjustable in 1 inch increments from a maximum width of 8 inches to a minimum of 2 inches. Constructed of 3/16 inch black acrylic and stainless steel fixtures that won't corrode.The internal dimensions of the tank are 10.75 x 11.0 x 0.75 inches for a fluid capacity of approximately 1200 ml. A collapsable, hinged support holds the tank at a convenient angle for loading and unloading plates, yet folds flat against the tank for storage and travel. The silver tank is light tight and requires no external dark box.
