Entstehungsgeschichte

Toady this museum boasts four floors and some 1,300 exhibits, Providing an insight into more than 100 years of typewriting history. The exhibition comprises the timespan from 1864, the historic year of invention, up to the 80s of the 20th century. By means of new dimensions such as dioramas and modern communication media, the visitors get illustrated information about this invention and its history of origins.

Im Inneren des Museums befinden sich heute, auf vier verschiedenen Ebenen, mehr als 1.300 Einzelstücke, somit über 100 Jahre Entwicklungsgeschichte der Schreibmaschine. Seit der Erfindung im Jahr 1864 erstreckt sich die Sammlung bis in die 80er Jahre des 20. Jahrhunderts. Neue Ausstellungsformen wie z.B. Dioramen und moderne Kommunikationsmedien helfen dem Besucher die Inhalte besser zu verstehen.
