Where the ultimate parent insurance or reinsurance undertaking or insurance holding company which has its head office in the Community, referred to in paragraph 1, is a subsidiary undertaking of an undertaking which is subject to supplementary supervision in accordance with Article 5(2) of Directive 2002/87/EC, the group supervisor may, after consulting the other supervisory authorities concerned, decide not to carry out at the level of that ultimate parent undertaking the supervision of risk concentration referred to in Article 244, the supervision of intra-group transactions referred to in Article 245, or both.
