I am a European Patent Attorney with 11+ years of experience in the patent field, including 3+ years working as an examiner for the Icelandic Patent Office. Since March 1 2012 I have been working as an independent patent consultant in Reykjavik, specializing in the validation of European Patents in Iceland. At the moment, I am able to take on additional clients and decided to contact you to see if you might be interested. Although I specialize in the validation of European patents in Iceland, I can also draft and prosecute Icelandic and European patent applications, apply for Supplementary Protection Certificates (SPCs), and assist with other IP-related matters.

Dr. Heinrich Geitz, senior partner and founder of our firm, studied mechanical engineering at the University of Berlin and received his doctorate at the RWTH Aachen. After qualifying as a patent attorney, he was appointed head of the patent department of IWKA, Karlsruhe. He left IWKA to pursue his career as an independent patent attorney, which he did extremely successfully for more than thirty years. During this time, he acquired a reputation for excellence among clients, colleagues and legal counterparts.

Herr Dr. Heinrich Geitz, Seniorpartner und Kanzleigründer, studierte Maschinenbau an der Universität Berlin und promovierte an der RWTH Aachen. Nach der Ausbildung zum Patentanwalt wurde ihm die Leitung der Patentabteilung der Firma IWKA, Karlsruhe übertragen.
