The late-Gothic town hall and market house, the church of St George, the ossuary chapel and three cloisters as well as the lower gate to the old clubhouse and the thieves tower have been carefully restored over the past four decades.

dates to 1813. The Hattula church is known for its lime paint frescoes done in late Gothic style, likely completed by the same group of artists who later painted the St. Lars church in Lohja (Finnish: Pyhän Laurin kirkko).
