The test setup consists of two large I-beams that attach to the test article using two sets of u-shaped steel plates. The steel plates are positioned to hold the test article at the steel sleeved section where the lower flange attaches. The u-shaped steel plates are 26.5 inches apart on center. The load will be applied through a hydraulic actuator that is mounted to the test setup using a steel tower that is welded directly to both I-beams. The entire test setup is mounted on top of tables so that prior to testing the bottom of the test article is 49 inches off of the ground. During testing the I-beams will stay on the tables while the test article is pushed toward the ground. Photos of the test setup can be seen in Figure 3 and Figure 4. Additional testing photos will be included in Appendix C of the final revision of this document.

Der Testaufbau besteht aus zwei großen T-Trägern, die an dem Testartikel Verwendung von zwei Sätzen der U-förmigen Stahlplatten zu befestigen.
