Lupus is a cruel mystery. It’s one of the cruelest, most mysterious diseases on earth. Lupus strikes without warning, has unpredictable, sometimes fatal effects, lasts a lifetime, and has no known cause and no known cure. There’s more to lupus than meets the eye; It is difficult to diagnose, hard to live with, and a challenge to treat. Lupus is hidden from view because people often times may not look sick. It is more pervasive than people think, and strikes on a scale that the public does not realize.

The history of don breed is connected with the history of Russian Empire and counts several centuries. The birth place of Don Horses is the steppes in the South of Russia where the Don river flows. In the ancient times it was the territory of nomad folks: Scythians, Sarmatians, Alanians were sharing the land. In the first century BC Huns have conquered the other nomads in their invasion to the West. In the second century CE chronicles describe Khazars – one of the most mysterious folks in the World history that inhabited the land to the north of the Caucasus.

Die Geschichte von Don Rasse ist mit der Geschichte des russischen Reiches verbunden und zählt mehrere Jahrhunderte. Der Geburtsort von Don Horses ist die Steppen im Süden von Russland, wo der Don Fluss fließt. In den alten Zeiten ist es das Gebiet der Nomaden Leute war: Skythen, Sarmaten waren, Alanen teilen das Land. Im ersten Jahrhundert v. Chr. Hunnen haben die anderen Nomaden in ihrer Invasion in den Westen erobert. Im zweiten Jahrhundert n. Chr. Chroniken beschreiben Chasaren - eine der geheimnisvollsten Leute in der Weltgeschichte, die das Land im Norden des Kaukasus bewohnt.

Johann Rosenmüller is no longer an unknown entity in today's musical life. During the last 20 years his beautiful and elegant works have found many admirers, and have made a place for themselves in concert programmes and recordings. Despite this, however, he remains one of the most mysterious of figures in the history of baroque music: a master of the first rank, yet without a biography. The influence of his music, particularly in the Germanic lands, was as great in its time as our knowledge of his life is small now. The present recording contains works chiefly from Rosenmüller's 25-year-long Venetian period. During this time he developed in both his vocal and instrumental works a varied yet distinctive style, the elements of which are displayed in the chosen pieces. Alex Potter and ensemble Chelycus present with this world premiere recording a rich and inspired interpretation of these master works.

Johann Rosenmüller ist nicht länger ein unbekanntes Wesen in der heutigen Musikleben. Während der letzten 20 Jahre seiner schönen und eleganten Arbeiten wurden viele Bewunderer gefunden, und haben einen Platz für sich in concert Programme und Aufnahmen. Trotz dieser, er bleibt jedoch eine der geheimnisvollsten Figuren in der Geschichte der Barockmusik: ein Meister ersten Ranges, doch ohne eine Biographie. Der Einfluss seiner Musik, vor allem in den germanischen Ländern, so groß war in seiner Zeit als unser Wissen seines Lebens kleine ist jetzt. Die vorliegende Einspielung enthält Werke hauptsächlich aus Rosenmüller 25-jährigen langen venezianischen Zeit. Während dieser Zeit war er in den entwickelten sowohl seine vokale und instrumentale Werke ein abwechslungsreiches noch unverwechselbaren Stil sind die Elemente, aus denen in den ausgewählten Stücke angezeigt. Alex Potter und Ensemble Chelycus präsentieren mit dieser Welt-Ersteinspielung eine reiche und inspirierte Interpretation dieser Meisterwerke.

Considering the fact that you can travel through this region on the thoroughfare I/6 from Prague to Karlovy Vary in only twenty minutes, it is almost unbelievable how many ´mosts´ you can find there: the most mysterious place of the Czech Republic – up to hundreds of meters long ancient stone rows near Kounov which are similar to the megalithic sites in France and England, the biggest railway museum of the Czech Republic in Lužná near Rakovník with arich collection of steam engines, the world´s most famous locality of the fossils of prehistoric sea creatures called ´trilobiti´ which the French researcher Joachim Barrande uncovered in the surroundings of the village Skryje in the first half of the 19.century, the most beautiful memorable beech near Mšecké Žehrovice or the museum exposition ´The Celts in the Rakovník Region´ with the world famous head of aCeltic druid from arenaceous marl which comes from the third century BC and which was found in this region in 1943.A two hundred thousand year old hand-axe was found in Mut?jovice which means that one of the oldest proofs of the life of human beings was also found in the Rakovník region.

Weil Sie die Rakovník Region auf der wichtigen Verkehrsader – der Fahrstra?e I/6 von Prag nach Karlsbad in nur zwanzig Minuten durchfahren können, ist es fast unglaublich, wie viele Superlative man da finden kann: die geheimnisvollste Stätte in Tschechien – bis hunderte Meter lange prähistorische Steinreihen bei Kounov, die ähnlich den Bauten in Frankreich und England sind, das grösste tschechische Eisenbahnmuseum in Lužná bei Rakovník mit der reichen Sammlung der Dampflokomotiven, die bekanntesten Weltfundstellen der Fossilien der prähistorischen Seewesen (die sog. trilobiti), die da in der ersten Hälfte des 19.Jahrhunderts in der Umgebung des Dorfes Skryje der Franzose Joachim Barrande entdeckte, die schönste Gedenkbuche bei Mšecké Žehrovice oder die Museumexposition Die Kelten in der Rakovník Region mit dem welbekannten Druidenkopf aus Tonschiefer aus dem dritten Jahhundert vor unserer Zeitrechnung, der in der Rakovník Region im Jahre 1943gefunden wurde. Aus dieser Region kommt auch einer der ältesten Nachweise des Menschenlebens auf dem Gebiet der Tschechischen Republik – der zwei hundert tausend alte Handkeil aus Mut?jovice.
