We must give most particular attention to the multiple discrimination, and one issue that has struck me too as fundamental and to which there has been frequent reference in this debate, is that of education and training; the possibility has been opened up of Roma women breaking out of a tradition that is problematic in some respects and does not always afford them every opportunity, and in future enjoying equality of opportunity under normal conditions.

Wir müssen uns der mehrfachen Diskriminierung ganz besonders widmen, und eine Frage, die mir auch wesentlich erschien und die hier auch immer wieder erwähnt wurde, ist die Frage der Bildung und Ausbildung; es ist die Möglichkeit gegeben, dass Roma-Frauen eben aus dieser Tradition, die zum Teil eine schwierige ist, die ihnen nicht immer alle Chancen gibt, ausbrechen können und in Zukunft eben auch die normalen Bedingungen einer Chancengleichheit haben.

Besides the most famous monuments, that is Malaspina Castle in S. Stefano d'Aveto (12th century) and the Abbey of Borzone dedicated to S. Andrea, which alone are worth a visit, we should also mention other significant architectural works, such as the several bell towers of Val d'Aveto (among the most particular ones, those in Cabanne, Rezzoaglio, Magnasco), the rests of the monastery of Villa Cella, one of the most ancient churches of the territory (already mentioned for the 12th century) and other several religious medieval of Baroque-style buildings (among them, the church of Allegrezze, dating back to the 15th century).

Neben den berühmten Denkmälern Schloss Malaspina in S. Stefano d'Aveto aus dem 12. Jahrhundert und der Abtei in Borzone, die dem Heiligen Andreas geweiht ist, sollte man auch andere architektonische Werke erwähnen, wie beispielsweise die Glockentürme in Val d'Aveto (Cabanne, Rezzoaglio, Magnasco), die Ruinen des Klosters in Villa Cella, einer der ältesten Kirchen der Gegend, und andere religiöse Gebäude aus dem Mittelalter oder der Barockzeit, z.B. die Kirche in Allegrezze aus dem 15. Jahrhundert.
