Bully was an attempt to continue recording together without the Mucky Pup name which they felt, at the time, had run its course.

Die Texte der Band sind meist humoristisch gehalten, vergleichbar mit der Bloodhound Gang, wobei die Lieder von Mucky Pup weniger poppig ausfallen.

After a year or so, Neabore and Kilkenny left to form the band Dog Eat Dog and Nastasi returned to Mucky Pup while simultaneously joining Dog Eat Dog as well.

Kilkenny sollte die Band jedoch auch bald wieder verlassen und als zweiter Gitarrist Dog Eat Dog beitreten.
