If only the liquid space wall of a PLG tank is heated, the temperature stratification is difficult to appear for the heat transfer by bubbles. For the case the liquid and vapor wall are heated together, the surface liquid would receive stronger heat flux than other zones in liquid, which may causes the core liquid is sub-cooled and appear temperature stratification by natural convection. Furthermore, the temperature gradients in the radial direction should be tiny.
