Within the first semester the topics of energy-saving construction, the facilities engineering, the building and room acoustics as well as noise control will be treated.

Im ersten Semester werden die Themen Energie sparende Bauweise, wird der Anlagenbau, der Bau-und Raumakustik sowie Lärmschutz behandelt werden.

Research on noise will focus on: engine and power-plant technologies, aeroacoustics for airframe noise reduction, advanced noise-control systems as well as novel flight operational procedures in the vicinity of airports.

Bezüglich des Lärms werden folgende Themen im Mittelpunkt der Forschung stehen: Triebwerks- und Antriebstechnologien, Aeroakustik zur Lärmminderung an der Zelle, fortgeschrittene Lärmschutzsysteme sowie neuartige Flugbetriebsverfahren im Flughafennahbereich.
