Very, very strange . Matcor uses this same part in-house to build the latch on the # 6 crossmember for the Chevy Equinox and the GM Terrain, we maintain the nuts position for the striker plate by piloting off the internal diameter of the two nuts and not the flange of the nut, attached are some pictures of our welding process. Attached also is the sorting report from QCC, they are presently rejecting 64 % of the parts according to sorting instructions from GM Opel, my concern is that GM Opel will not have sufficient parts to keep your line running.
