The indication for TAVI was based on symptomatic severe AS [aortic valve area (AVA) b1 cm2 or mean gradient >40 mmHg] and high surgical risk profile defined as a logistic European System for Cardiac Operative Risk Evaluation (logistic-EuroSCORE) ≥10% or Society of Thoracic Surgeons Predicted Risk of Mortality (STS-PROM) ≥10% or by associated co-morbidities not captured by the two scores (e.g. prior thoracic radiother- apy, porcelain aorta, liver cirrhosis, marked patient frailty) [13,14].

B. vor thorakalen Strahlentherapie-Therapie, Porzellan Aorta, Leberzirrhose, markierte Patienten Gebrechlichkeit) [13 erfasst wird, 14].
